Sacred 2 where to get runes

It is all about just killing more enemies. However, it does seem that as you get higher in levels the number of runes that drop drops drastically. GT: Empty1. PSN: TheEmpty1. User Info: joshD Kill lots of kobolds, at low levels they seem to drop quite often. User Info: Dordledum. User Info: blackenddeath Are you looking for any in particular? I might be able to help you out with some. User Info: CatfishWiggins. You are supposed to find fewer runes the further along in the game you are.

In the first Sacred, they accomplished this by having fewer runes drop for each rune that you used. In Sacred 2, I believe they based the drop chance on level. If this is correct, create a bronze game on your high level character and run through the kobold camp. The programmers might have taken a more thorough approach and especially coded player level into the chance for runes to drop, regardless of enemy level.

If this is the case, then start a new character and run through the kobold camp, then just stash all of the runes that drop.

I can confirm that the second option will work, because I am currently playing several low level characters to see how the different mods effect arts.

Before I delete one of them to start a new one, I stash all of their runes. My stash is now back at the point where my rune tab scrolls very slowly and if I want to withdraw a rune, I have to wait a couple seconds each time I click to take one out.

If two bad guys drop the same weapon, the lower level bad guy's drop will be lower level. Lower level weapons deal less damage and some of their mods might be lower. If the same weapon drops in silver and gold, the gold one's modifiers will be higher.

At the end of that Run I was about level I also went into the caves where I knew there would be barrels etc to open. Deleted him then did same again with another SW. All in Silver. Took just one morning I think but I wasn't in a hurry so maybe I could have done it faster. I chose that route because I knew there would be a good supply of Kobolds most of the way. Took no Quests of course. I read 2 Runes I think, Scything Sweep. Going by the high number of Runes I got I doubt it matters which skill is taken.

I could be wrong of course but I have always had the feeling that there is something in the game which gives lots of Runes at low character level. I did not have bargaining. I find getting runes in this game so much easier than in Sacred 2 where if you used or had too many stashed, your drops would get smaller regarding runes. I've got a bunch of runes up in Plat now, and can easily send them down to anyone that wants Higher level runes aren't a problem if you exchange them, and I believe character level needed to be able to read a plat runes is only 35 would have to verify that part but I remember something to that effect from beta discussion.

I've seen that there are days in which I find a rune after another and others, like yesterday, when findinig a rune is like finding a rare item. And that's not connected to the character class I'm using.

Ah the surplus of runes would be great guys. I'm working on creating a place to store our runes for the clan to share and access so the offers are much appreciated.

For now I don't have a place for them but I'll be sure to hunt you down when I do. As for rune levels vs character level I did test that out.

And forgot to post about, lol. I've completely forgotten the results of that but I'm "mostly" certain that any level rune can be read by any level character. It's the forging that becomes the issue and limits regarding that can be seen on the wiki Runes page.

Nice test run Gordius. I'll give that a try.
